UVC Hospital Profit Sharing Incentive Resources (2025)
United Veterinary Care (UVC) is excited to launch the enhanced 2025 Hospital Profit Sharing Incentive (HPSI) Plan, starting January 1, 2025. This program has been carefully designed to foster a culture of accountability, recognize exceptional performance, and reward the dedication of our Practice Managers (PMs), Medical Directors (MDs), and paraprofessional staff.
Through this initiative, UVC aligns hospital financial success with team incentives, ensuring everyone’s contributions are acknowledged and celebrated.
What Is the 2025 HPSI Plan?
The 2025 HPSI Plan builds upon previous versions by offering structured, tier-specific rewards based on hospital performance. This year, we’ve refined the plan to emphasize quarterly and annual achievements, ensuring consistent motivation throughout the year.
Key Objectives:
- Align Leadership and Team Goals – Ensure hospital leaders and team members work toward shared financial and operational targets.
- Reward Excellence – Provide tier-specific payouts for meeting and exceeding performance scorecards.
- Engage the Whole Team – Include paraprofessionals in the rewards structure, reflecting the value of their contributions.
How It Works
Eligibility:
- Practice Managers (PMs) and Medical Directors (MDs): Eligible for leadership pools, with payouts based on their hospital’s performance.
- Paraprofessionals (FT/PT): Eligible for the paraprofessional pool, with distributions based on their role and hospital results.
- DVMs: Not eligible for the HPSI program.
Quarterly Payouts:
- PMs and MDs earn 15% of their annual pool potential for meeting quarterly scorecard targets.
- Paraprofessional bonuses are paid from a hospital bonus pool based upon team member performance
Annual Payouts:
- PMs and MDs receive 40% of their annual pool potential for achieving their annual scorecard goals.
- Paraprofessionals are compensated for any missed quarterly payouts if the hospital meets its annual targets.
